Indian students also have a big contribution in American economy, contribution of 55 thousand crores

Every year millions of Indian students go to many countries including America for good education. Other expenses, including fees, are sent by their parents from India. This also benefits the economy there. According to a report, in the academic year 2019-20, Indian students contributed a total of $7.6 billion (Rs 55 thousand crore) to the US economy. However, the total number of students was down 4.4 percent over the previous year.

In US, foreign children from China are the most visited. Their numbers have been steadily increasing for the last 16 years.
