Google extended work from home facility till September 2021, after which employees will be able to work for 3 days at office and the rest of the day from home

Google has extended the Work from Home facility to September 2021. After that when the office is open, then the employees can come to the office for only 3 days and can work from home for the rest of the day. This was said on Monday in various media reports.

According to a New York Times report, Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote in an email to employees that the company was adopting the full hybrid workforce model. The company is testing the hypothesis that the flexible work model will increase productivity and collaboration and improve health. The new deadline will apply to all the company’s 200,000 employees.

Google will be able to provide the Covid-19 vaccine to its employees in the second half of 2021

The email stated that no company of our scale has ever fully adopted the hybrid workforce model, although some companies have begun testing on it. So it would be tableau to try it. Google hopes to be able to provide the Covid-19 vaccine to its employees in the second half of 2021. But only after getting the vaccine to high-risk and high-priority people all over the world will it be able to do so.

Twitter has allowed its employees to work from home forever.

In May, Google had said it would allow employees to have work from home by the middle of next year. Earlier, the company had set a deadline of January 2021 for its employees to return to the office. Significantly, Twitter has allowed its employees to work from home forever if they wish. In May, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg also created a remote work plan, under which about half of its 50,000 employees would be able to work from home by 2030. After them, Google was the first major tech company, which allowed its employees to work from home by mid-next year.
