SBI and IOC introduce co-branded debit card, will get this benefit on pouring petrol
State Bank of India (SBI) and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) have jointly introduced a contactless co-brand RuPay debit card. The bank said in a statement that customers from all over the country can get this card by going to the local SBI branch. It is a contactless card and payments up to Rs 5,000 can be made with “tap”.

SBI Chairman Dinesh Kumar Khara said, “We believe that this co-branded card with ‘tap and pay’ technology will provide many attractive benefits and offers. Cardholders will get a better experience on petrol purchases.”
Will get loyalty points
Khara said that through secure and convenient contactless payment, this card will also make customers’ daily purchases easier. Cardholders will get 0.75 percent loyalty points on buying fuel from Indian Oil’s petrol pumps through this card. There is no limit on the monthly purchase of fuel through the card.
