36,000 Fake Apple Products coming from China, Customs team raided, goods worth Rs 52 crore seized

This shocking news of Fake Apple Product has come out from the US itself. The US Department of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has caught three large shipments from China to the Cincinnati region. Fake Apple AirPods were loaded in these three shipments, which are said to be worth around US $7.16 million. If this price is compared to the Indian currency, then the price of these fake products of Apple will be more than Rs 52,45,31,576 i.e. Rs 52 crore.
Apple’s fake goods were coming from China
According to the official statement issued by the department, the US department has seized a total of three shipments. All three shipments were coming from China and all three contained Apple AirPods. According to the report, 12,000 units have been found in each shipment caught. That is, 36,000 fake AirPods were present in all the three shipments which have been seized. These fake Apple products made in China have been caught by the US department on May 11 and May 13.
Crores are stolen in the name of Apple
A shipment seized by the US CBP valued a package at the US $5,280. According to the report, if these 36,000 fake AirPods were caught in the market and sold in real terms, the retail price of all these would have been close to the US $7.16 million. That is, Apple was going to incur a huge loss of Rs 52 crore in the name of Apple.
Products caught violate trademark and copyright regulations, according to the US Department of Customs. Let me tell you that the tech giant Apple has created an anti-counter team, i.e. a group that monitors only such cases, to prevent such fake Apple products from going into the market. According to the report, in 2020 last year, Apple’s team seized one million such fake Apple products.
