WhatsApp will be able to run in four devices from the same number, everyone will get a chance to test
Reports of WhatsApp’s multi-device support have been coming since last year but now it looks like the company is going to release its update soon. A few days ago there was a report in which it was said that the multi-device support feature of WhatsApp is currently being tested on the beta version and now in a new report it is being said that the beta version of multi-device support will soon be released on a large scale so that more – multiple people can test the feature.
WhatsApp tracking site has confirmed this, although it has not yet been told how users will be able to participate in this beta testing. Currently, the public beta version is available for only a few users. Apart from iOS, Android users will also be able to participate in this beta testing.
With WhatsApp’s multi-device support, users will no longer need to have their phones connected to the Internet to use WhatsApp on desktop. It has been said in the report that four additional devices can be linked to one WhatsApp account, that is, you will be able to use WhatsApp from the same number on four other devices along with the phone.
It has also been said in the report that only those people will be able to use this feature whose phone’s WhatsApp app will be updated. In such a situation, in order to use a multi device account, it is necessary to update your phone’s app as well as the desktop version. As far as security is concerned, you will get end-to-end encryption even with multi-device support.
