Audi e-tron GT electric sports car with 488 km range to be launched in India soon

Audi India recently launched its first electric car in India as the e-tron and now the company has teased the launch of the new e-tron GT. This upcoming electric sports car from the luxury automaker will be an all-electric four-door coupe and will rival the upcoming Tesla Model S and Mercedes-Benz EQS in India. The new electric sports car will offer a range of 487 km on a single charge and will be so powerful that it can hit 100kmph as claimed in 4.1 seconds.

Audi India shared a short teaser video of the upcoming e-tron GT on its social media account. Although this teaser video does not reveal the complete design or specifications of the car, it has become clear that the company is going to launch this electric sports car in India soon. Audi has already launched its e-tron GT electric car in the international market, where it will be available in the standard e-tron GT Quattro model and the high-performance RS e-tron GT (RS e-tron GT) model.

The electric motor of the Quattro trim generates 476PS of power and 630Nm of torque. At the same time, its RS trim generates 598PS of power and 830Nm of torque. It has an electric motor producing 469hp power. While the RS variant generates power of 590hp. The company claims that the Quattro trim can accelerate to 100kmph in just 4.1 seconds. At the same time, it takes only 3.3 seconds for the RS trim to catch this speed.

Talking about the battery, both the trims have a battery pack of 93.4kWh capacity. However, there is a slight difference in the range of both the trims. Whereas on one hand the standard trim can cover a distance of 488kms as claimed on a single charge. On the other hand, the RS trim can deliver a range of 472 km on a single charge.
