Google banned 8 dangerous cryptocurrency apps, breaching user data

Google has removed 8 dangerous cryptocurrency apps from the Play Store. These apps include BitFunds, Bitcoin Miner, Bitcoin etc. If, you are using these apps, then uninstall these apps from your smartphone and delete the data. Google said in its blog that these apps were stealing crypto currency information from users’ accounts for the past few months.

Cybercriminals and hackers used to make users install apps under the pretext of cryptocurrency. After which when the information of the users came to the fore, they used to send advertisement ads and dangerous viruses etc. to their phones. However, the good thing is that Google got information about these apps and removed them from the Play Store.

According to a report, because of these 8 dangerous apps, users were forced to look for ads forcefully. Because of these apps, users were taking a monthly subscription of $15 (about Rs 1,115). Two out of these 8 apps are paid apps.
